Alex is a food stylist / home economist with experience across cookbooks, editorial, TV and online video content, packaging, as well as recipe development and product shoots.

A chef by training, Alex started his career as sous chef in a local pub, working his way up to restaurant head chef in Devon where he grew up. He then spent the next 10 years touring the world cooking for leading bands and working in event catering for major UK music festivals and award ceremonies.

From 2014 Alex worked as assistant food stylist / home economist across leading food events (Cake&Bake show, BBC Good Food), TV shows (Masterchef, Jamie&Jimmy's Friday Night Feast, Royal Recipes, Beat the Chef, Culinary Genius US, Gordon,Gino&Fred's Christmas roast, BBQ Champ) and supporting some of the best food stylists and home economists on advertising, editorial and cookbook shoots.

Since 2017 Alex has lead projects for clients such as Tefal, Waitrose, Tesco, Lidl, Grazia magazine and Pavilion books, ranging from recipe development and photoshoots for new product launches (Tefal) to online videos (Waitrose) and packaging (Tesco rebrand, Jacks launch).
